Indigo Irwin - Pencil Sketches

Following my character design development process where I finalised the intended design of my character I then transferred my characters visual information into refined pencil sketches. I created 3 turn around poses of the front, side, and angled perspectives of my character design as well as 2 action shots with the intention of conveying my characters personality’s. The following photographs show the pencil sketches on various sizes of paper from A2 to A4.

The next stage in my design process is to import each of these pencil sketches into the vector-based software 'Adobe Illustrator' where I will begin the process of creating refined linework for each of my illustrative designs. Although during the next stage I will be reining and polishing the line works information, it is the sketches at this stage which lay the foundation and guidance plan for all future stages of character development.
